New Play Centre-by Casey Cat

Hey, fellow Desperate Housepets-my name is Casey and I am the Head Housepet in my home. It is definately awesome being King and having "people" to do your bidding. For instance-when I want to be scratched by the Lady of the House (LOTH)I simply deactivate one of my switchblade like claws and obtain her attention by stabbing her, gently at first, but adding more pressure until she gets my message. Sometimes I need a scrach in the middle of the night when LOTH is sleeping-you should see how quickly she wakes up when I stab her in the back. lololololol

I have a long time partner, Lizzy, a doggie brother Kilty, a doggie brother Angus (a redhead like me) and a baby sister Kitty-Jezebelle. Oh, that Jez, she is such a ditz-this afternoon she found herself on the outside of the backdoor looking in-how she got there is anyone's guess, but her desperate scratching on the glass caught LOTH's attention and unfortunately for all of us-she is back inside. Jez plays on the new kitty-gym when I let her, she needs to wear off that kitten energy and quit bugging me. An experienced King Kitty like me needs his rest.

It is starting to get colder outside where we live so Lizzy and I are migrating to the downstairs. This kitty migration takes place every fall and then we head back up after the cold winter. I think it has more to do with the extra heaters downstairs that we can lie beside than migratory patterns of felines, but who cares -when you are King you can what you want when you want.

Oh, yes, I asked LOTH to post a picture of me so you can see me in action and swoon.

TTFN,
HRH Casey

Animal Blessing

Angus here this time. I finally got my chance at the computer.

You will never guess what we did today. Our Humum took us to a really really old Church to be blessed. It was awesome! Everyone in the church made a big fuss about Kilty and I (as they should) and we walked down a nice red carpet to a "pew". Some of the dogs sat on the pew to watch the ceremony, but Kilty and I sat on the nice red carpet. There were cats there and lots of dogs with their humans. The humans sang songs and the Father said that we could join in too if we wanted to, but Kilty and I decided not to sing and drown out the humans. I did notice a kitty meowing along though. When the singing was over we were all called up for a special Pet blessing and we had our pictures taken, then we got dog treats so all in all it was a fun afternoon.

Can't wait to see what she has planned for next weekend.

Angy-out for now.
